Times News NetworkBhopal: A speeding black car allegedly knocked down a 65-year-old man at a cut point near a petrol pump and Kilol Park in Shyamla Hills locality past midnight on Thursday. He sustained severe injuries and was rushed to a hospital where he was declared dead. Acting on information, Shyamla Hills police registered a case and started investigations.Police said that the deceased was identified as Mohar Singh, 65, a resident of Shyamla Hills area. He was a daily wager.In another case, a 20-year-old scooter rider died allegedly after his vehicle rammed into the rear of a moving trailer truck on the Mubarakpur-Parwalia road under Parwalia police station limits on Wednesday morning.Police said the deceased, identified as Sunny Kevda, a resident of Shanti Nagar in Gandhi Nagar, was employed in the private sector. He was travelling on his scooter when the accident occurred near a tea stall on the Mubarakpur-Parwalia stretch.According to police, Sunny’s scooter crashed into the back of a trailer moving ahead of him. The impact left him with severe head injuries. He was rushed for medical assistance but succumbed to his injuries.
