Several documentaries on D4vd case reportedly in production as Celeste Rivas' family stays away

It has been reported that there are already several documentaries on the works relating to the D4vd case; however, the family of Celeste Rivas has no plans of joining in such projects. As claimed by the family’s attorney, Patrick Steinfeld, there are various production companies that have attempted to reach out to the family in order to obtain details about their involvement with the documentaries about the case.


Due to the overwhelming interest in the case, some production companies are even believed to have visited the family at their home regarding the issue. The family clearly does not wish to be a part of the documentaries in any way. The decision comes as public interest in the case continues to grow.

Celeste Rivas' family declines involvement despite growing documentary interest

According to attorney Patrick Steinfeld, the family has been contacted by many production companies interested in creating documentaries about the alleged relationship between Celeste Rivas and singer D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke. While Steinfeld did not reveal any specific companies, he said the family has been informed that some documentary projects have already secured funding and are currently being produced.





According to the lawyer, these requests for inclusion have been coming from a number of different sources. For instance, there have been cases where representatives contacted the family themselves, as well as those who attempted to acquire information through proper channels. Yet, their stance remains the same regardless.


Steinfeld made sure to emphasize that the Rivas family is not interested in appearing in documentaries or providing information on them. This means that filmmakers hoping to include the family will have to do so without their input.


There is still much focus on the case in the media. This is because of the ongoing legal cases against D4vd. As mentioned before, he is currently being held for the murder of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas back in April 2025. The singer has pleaded not guilty to the charges against him.


The idea that there may be more than one documentary about the incident further demonstrates the amount of public interest there is in the case. Still, despite an increasing number of reports of production plans, the family of Celeste Rivas does not wish to be in the spotlight themselves.


For now, documentary makers may continue working on their projects, but they will likely do so without direct involvement from Celeste Rivas' family.
