Brian Schottenheimer loves to practice the footwork dance with
Dak Prescott and other Dallas Cowboys players.
Mike Vrabel promises to be out there in full force for all upcoming New England Patriots activities.
When
Justin Herbert told Jim Harbaugh he would be missing OTAs to support his girlfriend, Madison Beer, the coach offered him a ride to the airport!
Brian Schottenheimer took Dak Prescott to footwork dance class
So, Dallas Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer took his quarterback Dak Prescott and others like Joe Milton, Will Grier, Steve Shimko, and their families to a footwork dance class to develop team camaraderie in the 2025 offseason.
They tap-danced to Greek music. At the end of the dance, Joe Milton went to the center of the circle and performed a contemporary dance.
Others around him threw glass plates at him. It could be the coach’s strategy for concentration.
More than football, it’s the outside world that his football players live in --- that matters to Schottenheimer.
“We try to get 4, 5, or 6 guys together and just talk about life,” Brian Schottenheimer told The Athletic’s Jon Machota in 2025.
“Football rarely comes up. We do football all day long. What I want to know is what Javonte [Williams] named his dog.
And where does this story come from, and all those things.
For them to share their stories with their teammates allows them --- when they’re out there on the field, they’re having a tough day, and it’s hot, and they’re pushing through a padded practice in Oxnard, they’re able --- to truly pull together and work together.
I think that’s going to help us finish games, finish practices.
When you have a tough moment, you have a tough stretch in the season. You work through those problems because they believe in one other, and more importantly, they love each other.”
As for the New England Patriots?
Mike Vrabel promises full force for team activities
Patriots players are reportedly standing by their head coach, Mike Vrabel, amid the receding Dianna Russini scandal.
And Vrabel recently promised that he’s going to be out there in full force for all team activities.
The 50-year-old coach addressed the media on May 27 for the first time after his absence on Day 3 of the 2026 NFL Draft.
The reporters asked about how he balanced his private and professional life.
“Really good,” Vrabel said. “I appreciate that my family is great. I love Jen [Vrabel], I love the boys, I love my personal friends.”
When the reporters asked if he would be away from the team in the future,
Vrabel said, “I can’t tell you anything other than I’m going to be out there today in full force. So, I’m going to focus on today and the excitement that we’ve had and that we’ve built so far.”
When reporters asked about how he dealt with distractions, Vrabel said, “We all have to deal with things outside of here.
My focus, and obviously the excitement that I have for coaching, is what is most important right now. This is a great opportunity.”
This could be a great sign for the Patriots players. Now that their coach’s focus is all on them and the Dianna Russini story is also slowly leaving cyberspace…
As for the Los Angeles Chargers?
Jim Harbaugh encouraged Justin Herbert to spend time with Madison Beer
As for Justin Herbert’s head coach, Jim Harbaugh? He wanted to book a ride for the Chargers quarterback so he could get to the airport.
Why? To spend some supportive time with his superstar girlfriend, Madison Beer, during her Locket Tour!
“He told me he wasn’t gonna be here for those two weeks, and my first reaction was, ‘Do you need a ride to the airport?’” Harbaugh told reporters at the May 27 press conference.
Who does that? This is the first we’re hearing! Support comes in varied forms.
“He’s just been somebody that---he’s just here all the time,” Harbaugh continued. “There’s times I’ve wanted to shoo him out of the building.
He’s at every voluntary, every nonvoluntary workout.
It’s the same guy that broke his hand, and then the next day he was here practicing the next game, stiff-arming guys. So yeah, I was happy.”
Harbaugh is making sure his star quarterback is excelling in both professional and personal life.
