BJP’s Tarun Chugh files RS nomination from MP
Chandigarh: BJP national general secretary and Rajya Sabha candidate from Madhya Pradesh, Tarun Chugh, on Saturday filed his nomination papers at the Madhya Pradesh Assembly. The occasion was marked by the presence of chief minister Dr Mohan Yadav, state BJP president Hemant Khandelwal and senior BJP leaders. Chugh expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union home minister Amit Shah and BJP president Nitin Nabin for reposing faith in him.He said that the confidence shown by the party in an ordinary karyakarta is both a matter of pride and a great responsibility. Recalling his long and emotional association with Madhya Pradesh, Chugh said that he earlier worked in the state as an organisational expansion in-charge and that the opportunity to represent Madhya Pradesh in the Rajya Sabha was a matter of great honour. Chugh remarked that the BJP is a cadre-based organisation where dedication, hard work and commitment to organisational values are always recognised.
