What did Bricks & Minifigs CEO Ammon McNeff accuse Reckless Ben of in newly released bodycam footage?

YouTuber Reckless Ben has shared unredacted police bodycam footage from his March 11, 2026 arrest, and the video is now drawing attention online. The footage was uploaded on June 4, 2026, and shows conversations between police officers, Bricks & Minifigs Salem-Keizer franchise owner Joshua Johnson, and comments attributed to Bricks & Minifigs CEO Ammon McNeff. The arrest happened while Reckless Ben was outside Joshua Johnson’s home. Ben has been covering a long-running dispute connected to a reported $200,000 LEGO Star Wars collection that belonged to the Mansell family. According to Bryan Mansell, much of the collection was not returned after ownership of the Bricks & Minifigs Salem-Keizer store changed hands in late 2024.

In the newly released footage, Joshua Johnson accused Reckless Ben of stalking and harassment. During a phone conversation heard in the video, Johnson spoke with Bricks & Minifigs CEO Ammon McNeff, who discussed possible legal action against Ben and his team.

In the bodycam footage shared by Reckless Ben on YouTube platform, Ammon McNeff can be heard saying that authorities were prepared to pursue action against Ben and others over what he described as cyberbullying and digital stalking.

According to the recording, McNeff said:

“We’re ready and willing to arrest these individuals for Utah, you know, like Utah statutes for cyber bullying and and, like, digital stalking because they’re using electronic means for you know, communication and coordinating their stalking. It’s all of the above.”

Joshua Johnson also repeatedly argued that Ben’s attempt to serve legal papers through another person was illegal.

However, Reckless Ben pushed back and explained why he believed the process was lawful under Utah law. He said:

“In the state of Utah, to be a process server, all you have to do is be over the age of 18 years old. You got to be not affiliated with the case, and you can’t be an attorney. And this girl meets all three. She is over 18 years old. I literally met her like 10 minutes before we showed up here, and she’s not an attorney. So, legally in the state of Utah, this woman is a process server.”

The footage shows police speaking with Johnson before officers arrested Ben. Ben later claimed that police also searched his home and suspected him of being connected to the missing LEGO collection.

In the same June 4 video, Reckless Ben alleged that Bricks & Minifigs had been making false reports in his name to get him arrested. He said the claims were untrue and denied making any threats. Ben further claimed that police agencies in Utah and Los Angeles were working together to pursue him. He also stated that he is currently outside the United States and believes American authorities cannot reach him there.

Separately, Patreon CEO Jack Conte responded to a Bricks & Minifigs takedown request involving Reckless Ben’s content. According to Ben, Conte replied, “Bricks & Minifigs can stuff it.”
