A Pune man was abducted and taken to Beed district in an attempt to force him into marriage. Police swiftly arrested seven individuals and detained a minor, uncovering a plot orchestrated by a woman known to the victim for three years. The victim, who had refused her marriage proposal, was rescued within four hours of the abduction.
