WWE legend Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has revealed that he recently underwent a frightening cancer scare, sharing the details of the health issue during an appearance on a podcast. According to a report from F4WOnline, Johnson explained that he discovered that the doctor had detected a lump on his testicles. This scared the star and noted that he did not even tell his wife, Lauren Hashian, about it. The uncertainty surrounding the diagnosis prompted additional medical testing, leaving the former WWE Champion worried about the results.

WWE star The Rock revealed his recent experience with his cancer scare and shared his health update on a podcast with Esquire. Speaking with Ryan D’Agostino, Rock stated that he detected a lump in his testicle while showering. However, the doctor assumed that it was likely epididymitis, an inflammation of a tube at the back of the testicle, which could also be a cancer. He underwent an ultrasound the following morning. Rock noted that he did not even tell his wife, Lauren Hashian, about it.The reason he stated for hiding it from his wife was, “I didn’t even tell Lauren. I didn’t want to worry her before I knew if it was anything to even worry about.”
“By the way, I’m fine. But I didn’t know that then, and the thing was really painful. So I had to live with that for those twenty-four hours, not knowing—and I had to be on all day, joking around, making speeches,” he further added.

Speaking on the same, he stated, “It would have been incredible to get nominated for an Oscar. … I realized very quickly that it’s a rare thing to reach this pinnacle where you’re even having these conversations. And it’s exciting! It would have been amazing. I wish it had happened. But it didn’t. But in no uncertain terms did I ever think, Oh, that doesn’t matter. I always thought it mattered.
