Madurai South Assembly Election Results 2026 Live Updates: TVK’s M M Gopison wins by 21,529 vote margin
Raama Sreenivasan (Bharatiya Janata Party), B.M.Sumathy (Naam Tamilar Katchi), M.Boominathan (Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam), S.Iruthyaraj (Tamizhaga Vaazhvurimai Katchi), M.M.Gopison (Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam), and K.Jeya (Independent) — 6 candidates contesting from Madurai South in Tamil Nadu's 2026 Assembly Election. Votes cast across this constituency are now being counted, and early trends from each round will be closely watched as the day unfolds. Madurai South is a General constituency. In 2021, Boominathan.M of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam won by a margin of 6,515 votes. The 2016 winner was S. S. Saravanan of the AIADMK. the final result will show which candidate has secured the most votes in Madurai South in 2026.
