Chatra: Around 80 kg of poppy husk (doda), worth around Rs 10 lakh, was seized from Hardipur village under the Lawalong police station limits of Chatra district on Monday, police said.DSP (headquarters) Sunil Kumar Singh said, “Acting on inputs that a large quantity of contraband had been stored at Jordag Tola and was being prepared for transportation to Punjab, Simaria SDPO Nagar Goje Shubham Bhau Saheb seized the illegal item concealed in bushes near the house of one Chandan Yadav at Jordag Tola in Hardipur village. The peddlers, including buyers who arrived from Punjab, fled the spot.”
