BMC demolishes 150 unauthorised structures obstructing Goregaon–Mulund Link Road Project at Amar Nagar–Khindipada
Mumbai: The BMC T-ward office carried out demolition of 150 unauthorised residential and commercial structures at Amar Nagar, Khindipada, obstructing the Goregaon-Mulund Link Road project, which connects the eastern and western suburbs of Mumbai. The remaining 234 unauthorised structures will be removed next week. The Goregaon-Mulund Link Road is 12.20 km in length. The work on this link road is to be completed in four phases, comprising road, underground tunnel, flyover and other works. Approximately 384 structures in Amar Nagar, Khindipada, within T Ward limits were found to be obstructing the construction of the link road. Of these, approximately 150 commercial and residential structures were demolished today.
