Man held for killing woman in Kaushambi

Prayagraj: A 30-year-old man identified as Arjun Pasi, a resident of Imligav was arrested by Kaushambi police on Thursday on the charges of killing a woman on May 29.The body of the woman identified as Maneeta Devi was found inside a garden on May 29 night under the limits of Sarayakil police station.Police said that accused, who was returning after collecting woods on his cycle, had allegedly strangled the woman to death after being irked over her abusive nature. He later admitted that he killed the woman for using foul language against him.
