Bigg Boss Telugu 7: A look at the highlights of the grand premiere

Bigg Boss Telugu season 7 started off on a high note. The much-awaited Telugu reality show of the year kickstarted with host Nagarjuna Akkineni's smashing entry and then introducing the new Bigg Boss house. He even welcomed the fourteen chosen contestants who made a grand entry into the Bigg Boss house with full enthusiasm. While the grand finale turned out to be a gala affair, here's taking a quick glimpse of the premiere episode of Bigg Boss Telugu 7.

​King Nagarjuna is back

Superstar King Nagarjuna returned to the small screens as the host of Bigg Boss Telugu season 7. The host introduced the theme of the reality show as 'Ulta-Pulta' and revealed that nothing would be easy for the contestants this season. He even averred that Bigg Boss Telugu 7 would be more fiercer and surpass many surprises.

Nags gave a quick tour of the new Bigg Boss house. Interestingly, this time, the Bigg Boss house has three bedrooms which are Super deluxe, deluxe, and the normal ones.

​The contestants

Season 7 of the controversial reality TV show may not have big names to boast but has a mix of popular figures selected across film, TV, music, and social media platforms. This season will also feature commoner contestant(s). Fourteen contestants from different walks of life entered the reality show as the contestants.

​Meet the contestants

Priyanka Jain, Sivaji, Damini Bhatla, Prince Yawar, Subhashree Rayaguru, Shakeela, Aata Sandeep, Sobha Shetty, Tasty Teja, Rathika, Gautham Krishna, Kiran Rathore, Pallavi Prashanth, Amardeep Chowdary are the contestants who entered the reality show.

​The special guests

The grand gala launch has welcomed star actors like Vijay Devarkonda and Naveen Polishetty, who impressed with their Telugu, fun banter with host Nagarjuna and also promoted their recently released films.

​Nags fun banter with Vijay Devarkonda

Host Nagarjuna Akkineni and Vijay Devarkonda shared a lively chat on the Bigg Boss stage. While Vijay was there to promote his movie, Kushi, the host questioned him about the leading lady of the film, Samantha Ruth Prabhu's absence. Vijay Devarkonda responded to Nag's question saying that Samantha is currently in the USA and she is unable to travel much. Devarkonda also spoke about his bond with his Kushi co-actress.

With fourteen contestants entering the Bigg Boss house, host Nagarjuna Akkineni locked the glasshouse. He mentioned that he would meet the contestants next week and signed off for the grand finale.
