From Sunidhi Chauhan to Shreya Ghoshal, a look at the renowned singers who have sung for Marathi TV shows

Marathi television is known for devotional and family-oriented content. Along with the vibrant subjects, the shows are also known for their emotional and heart-touching title tracks. Recently, Bollywood playback singer Sunidhi Chauhan sang for the horror thriller show Chandravilas' title track and surprised everyone. The celebrity singer, who is known for her strong voice recently sang for the upcoming Marathi thriller show Chandravilas. Sunidhi had earlier lent her voice to various Marathi films but this is the first time ever she has sung for a TV show. The audience is eagerly waiting to listen to the title track of the show.

The singing reality TV show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa winner Vaishali Made has sung for the Marathi TV show Kulvadhu. She had given her voice to the lead actress of the show Purva Gokhale and her song is still popular among fans. It is one of the iconic title tracks of Marathi television.

​Shreya Ghoshal​

Shreya Ghoshal has sung the title song of the popular Marathi romantic show Khulta Kali Khulena. The show featured Mayuri Deshmukh, Abhidnya Bhave, and Omprakash Shinde. The title track is still popular on social media. This was the first time when Shreya performed for a Marathi show's title track and her soulful voice won hearts.

The pop star and singer Shalmali Kholgade lent her voice to the horror thriller show Chahul a few years ago. The song has a mixture of horror and suspense genres and the singer tried her best to add spice to the track with her beautiful voice.

Indian Idol runner 11 runner-up Rohit Raut has sung various Marathi TV show songs so far. The title tracks including Maharashtrachi Hasya Jatra, Sang Tu Aahes Ka, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, and more have been sung by Rohit.

The popular music composers Ajay-Atul duo are best known for their strong and soft voices. The duo sang the title track of Raja Shivchatrapati TV show which was based on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's life journey. The song still plays in various special events.
