Bigg Boss 16: From Tina Datta to Soundarya Sharma; these contestants faced character assassination in the house

Bigg Boss 16 has been mired in controversies since the beginning of the show and there have been major instances when the contestants went on to do character assassinations of each other and went on to pass derogatory comments. Take a look at the major instances when contestants ended up doing 'Character Assassination' of their rivals:

Shiv was informed by Sajid that Shalin had made a derogatory remark about his character. He referred to the Bigg Boss Marathi winner, 'Ladkibaaz,' as a womaniser. Shiv was taken aback at first when he heard this, but then hurled abuses at Shalin's cheap thinking.

In the recent episode, Sreejita and Soundarya were having a talk about Tina and Sreejita said, "Tina can never stay without gaining attention, especially from the boys. She has attempted to end several marriages, which is why she has been unable to settle down in her own life and build her own home. She is one of those people who are so unhappy on the inside that they enjoy tearing down others."

MC Stan and Priyanka once had an argument due to the lighter where Stan ended up passing extremely derogatory comments for her. He said, "I am not your servant. Listen, don't say all this to me, tell Ankit. Do you want two boyfriends? It seems like one is not enough, you want one more. Even your child will be irritated with your voice. And next time don’t say ‘chal chal’ as I am not interested in going anywhere with you. I already have a girlfriend outside."

When Salman Khan called Soundarya Sharma, Archana Gautam and Sumbul Touqeer into the activity area, he showed Soundarya the cosy moment that was earlier discussed in the house. Sumbul came back to the house and described it to her friends Shalin and Tina and all of them had a laugh over the contestant's character.

Shalin had once commented on Soundarya's inner garment and passed a remark on her clothing while talking to Tina, at first she took it as a joke but then went to Gautam and shared, "I didn't realize I have worn Calvin Klein but Shalin noticed it and said, I have a joke only if you can hear, Tina pushed him to say and he spoke about it." Soundarya felt disgusted by Shalin's remarks.

He then questioned her character after the kiss incident. Soundarya lost her cool over Shalin and raged, " He is roaming in the house saying, Soundarya kissed me. What does he think of himself? He is trying to question my character and demean me. He doesn’t know a thing about my life, my friends and all how can he pass such comments?"

The 19-year-old Sumbul Touqeer was questioned over her obsession with Shalin Bhanot on the weekend ka vaar episode. Tina left no stone unturned in proving Sumbul's obsession and this irked many actors who have been well-wishers of Sumbul.

In an exclusive conversation, Sumbul's co-star Manasvi Vashisht revealed, "Every viewer is seeing what Tina is doing in the show. They may say everything is fair in the show but I don't think this is the right thing to do for Tina as she has stooped so low. She is playing the game so dirty now. She is taking advantage of the fact that Sumbul is innocent and vulnerable and she is just bullying her. I don't know why this is not highlighted in the show but the game that Tina is playing is so unfair and inhumane."
