“ Roktokorobi is a psychological thriller and has a gripping story. I am playing Bidula’s character and paired opposite Vikram, who plays Satyaki’s character. He is a psychologist by profession. Bidula and Satyaki are about to get married but all of a sudden, he stops contacting her. Satyaki doesn’t receive her calls or reply to her text messages. This leaves her clueless and she tries to figure out why Satyaki behaves this way. She learns his first patient died by suicide and the incident leaves him distressed. He goes to his ancestral home. Bidula tries to help her handle the situation but a lot of incidents start happening. And as the story progresses, the audience learns what really happened with Satyaki,” says Rooqma. On Laalkuthi’s brief journey on television

Mystery thriller ‘Laalkuthi’, starring the actress, Rahul Arunoday Banerjee, Hritojeet Chattopadhyay, Prriym Chakraborty, and Suvajit Kar was launched with a lot of expectations. Viewers were excited to see their favourite reel pair, Rahul-Rooqma yet again on small screen. But the TV show had a brief run because of low TRP. “Yes, Lalkuthi concluded sooner than expected. It had an interesting storyline and we had some very talented artists in the team. I was really excited to be a part of the project Rahul Da was also there. So the experience was amazing but the show went off-air soon. Somehow, I felt, audience prefer family drama over thriller.” she adds. (Photo: Facebook)
