China is all set to get a Universal Studios theme park, which will be the first in the country. The theme park is opening in the city of Beijing in the month of September. As of now, the opening date is set for September 20. The theme park has been under construction since 2016, and is set to be a major attraction in the city. In fact, one of the city’s main subway lines has even been extended to the site.
Universal Studios is reputed for its incredible movies, and film franchises, with some of the favourites such as Harry Potter, and Jurassic Park. Such theme parks draw a large crowd, mostly young fans who get to enter the world of their favourite characters. Universal Studios also owns the Kung Fu Panda franchises, and Despicable Me movies.
The first theme park opened by Universal Studios is Universal Studios Hollywood, back in 1964. Ever since, the studio has opened theme parks across the world to reach fans.
