We now know that flights are finally operating between India and Maldives after months of shutdown. As reported here in an earlier article, the air travel bubble between the two countries is the first of its kind during this time, and Maldives has taken all precautions to welcome tourists into the country. We now have the schedule for flights between the two countries here below.
The Air India 264 flight is scheduled to depart from Male at 15:00 hours and will arrive at Thiruvananthapuram airport at 16:50 hours. The air travel bubble is expected to allow tourists from India to travel to Maldives where adequate measures have been taken to minimise the risk of coronavirus.
It is being reported that Mumbai and Delhi will not ask you to go into the 7-day institutional quarantine in case you have a fresh report that shows negative results. Certain resorts in Maldives have the option to take tests before you leave for India.
