India is slowly adapting to the idea of vegan food, with more and more people opting to go vegan. It is a bit hard considering that much of the Indian diet depends on dairy, but if you would like to get an idea regarding it, here's a celebration that you could be a part of. Mumbai's very own Vegan Festival is ready to kick off this weekend in the city for its fifth edition. The Ahimsa Fest 2020 is going to be all about celebrating veganism with the choicest vegan foods. Try it to believe it.
The festival is going to be hosted on Republic Day, January 26, 2020. Expect an array of cooking demonstrations and tips, activities for children, fitness tutorials, and much more. Of course, you will also have some delectable vegan dishes that you can order from the Ahimsa Cafe at the venue. The festival is equally about food and awareness.
Some of India's leading athletes are going to be present at the festival, such as Gunjan Sharma, who is known as a leading calisthenics and parkour athlete; Sandeep Kumar, who is the fastest Indian at Comrades Ultra Marathon; and professional bodybuilder Abhishek Thevar. Leading health and nutrition specialists will also be in attendance.
So, if you have always been dreaming about turning vegan, this is a much-needed push. Come celebrate life!
