A slight detour from the heart of Mussoorie, Himalayan Weavers is a small trade company that was set-up in 2005, with the aim of promoting environment friendly products from the Himalayan region. All products are hand-woven, and produced using purely natural substances and methods. Choose between scarves, throws, shawls and stoles spun from Himalayan wool, pashmina and eri silk—where each product guarantees the highest quality, and is devoid of chemicals (colour is added through natural dyes, and the fibres used are naturally sourced from plants). Started by the Alams almost 10 years back, Himalayan Weavers is all about popularising Himalayan crafts and techniques, and creating a market for these goods.
