Having been around for close to 40 years—it initially started out as manufacturing unit for walking sticks—Classic Emporium has evolved into something of an institution in Mussoorie. Selling a wide range of handicrafts—from home décor items to jewellery—in brass, porcelain, wood and cloth, this is undoubtedly the best place to make a pit-stop if you’re looking for a souvenir from your trip. From handmade jewellery boxes and beautifully crafted candle-stands, to Tibetan sculptures, lampshades and jewellery—you can spend a good hour just browsing through the rows of bric-a-brac and picking what you want. The owners, (they’re currently in their fourth generation), are happy to regale you with anecdotes while you’re at it, and nothing is over priced.
