It is hailed as Scotland’s most visited modern art gallery and it is easy to understand why so many artists choose to live and work in the city. Housed in an impressive and iconic building, the purpose of this art gallery is to bring people together to talk about and admire the art. The art gallery is constantly changing its displays, inspired by what the city owns and visitors can come here year after year and never see the same thing twice. The gallery also houses an impressive library, which for any book lover is a must stop. Not only can you wander through the four galleries in awe of the talent that lives here, but you can also settle down in a quiet corner and read a book, or even grab a cup of coffee and chat with friends at the on-site café. Make this a stop for a couple hours on your trip to Glasgow.
