Despite its name, this bar actually occupies three floors, albeit narrow ones, as well as seated street space outside. There's lots of exposed brick and they do the best they can with the sometimes dingy lighting, but the ambience is very chilled out, especially during their regular live music nights. Read less
Three-tiered sandstone bar for beer-loversWord to the wise: Weekends are notoriously busy here and it can get claustrophobic. Go on a Thursday, when there's a more chilled vibe.

Despite its name, this bar actually occupies three floors, albeit narrow ones, as well as seated street space outside. There's lots of exposed brick and they do the best they can with the sometimes dingy lighting, but the ambience is very chilled out, especially during their regular live music nights. It's a popular place with the after-work crowd, particularly in summer.
Small Bar feels a bit like a bistro, and you can eat here - the gastro-pub style blackboard menu changes daily - but most come for the very decent wine list and hard-to-find bottled beers.
