Word to the wise: The Pool Club opens at 12noon from Tues-Fri (from 4pm on Mon and 6pm on Sat). Bring your bathers.
Opened to much fanfare in 2008, the Ivy complex added a new dimension to Sydney partying. A 180 million-dollar dimension. Exclusivity ascends with each level, starting with the first floor Ivy Bar courtyard slash dance floor complete with twinkling fairy light-adorned trees. All white marble and potted plants, the bar's second floor overlooking the writhing masses beckons flirting between fern fronds.

It can get a bit messy here on weekend nights as punters vie for a slice of rockstar partying, which has forced the cool crowd upstairs to rooftop bar Pool Club and it's cheeky indoor club arm, Changeroom. Visit during the afternoon for a more relaxed experience.
