Although it's just a few minutes from Plaça de Catalunya, Hotel Denit is blissfully quiet - not just because its backstreet location is calm, but also because its rooms are soundproofed for the benefit of light sleepers. These rooms - honestly labelled as S, M, L and XL - are bright and modishly furnished, as are the public areas filled with pale wooden furniture and decorated with child-like illustrations on the wall.
Because of this clean modern feel, you might not notice at first glance that Hotel Denit is a no-frills hotel. That's what it is, however, and you'll notice some efficiencies at work here, such as small rooms where toilet cubicles are combined with wet rooms. For the price, Hotel Denit's central location, service and decor nonetheless make you feel like you're getting a bargain.
