The island of Venice, and the whole of Italy in fact, is known for its fantastic food, pizzas, pastas, antipasti, fresh seafood, and of course Italian gelato. But where to find Indian food in Venice, is one question Indian tourists might want to ask!But while Venice caters to tourists from all over the world, there are not actually that many Indian restaurants. But don’t worry, if you are craving for a curry or a taste of home, then there are still a few places in and around Venice where you can eat Indian food.
Bear in mind though, that Indian restaurants are not so common in Italy and the taste may be a little different from what you’re used to in India. There is only really one Indian restaurant in the main tourist part of Venice, but if you venture out a little further or over to Mestre on the mainland, you can find a couple of nice Indian restaurants. There is also a nice Indian restaurant on the Lido Island which makes a refreshing beach side break from the busy streets of Venice.
