With two Michelin stars under its belt, it’s no wonder that this is one of the best restaurants to eat in Athens. It is nestled in the ancient neighborhood of Keramikos and proves true to its name with funky and innovative techniques and food. The chefs behind this popular restaurant are Hiliadaki and Roussos, who met at the culinary institute in the United States and worked at many restaurants before venturing out on their own together. The main floor, i.e., the dining room is simple and elegant, inviting diners to focus on their food instead of the surroundings. Menus change on a regular basis and guests are invited to choose from two different tasting menus that include numerous courses. If you want to experience an even more exciting dining experience, go for the wine pairings with the tasting menus. Expect to see items such as escargot, squid, lamb, rabbit and more on the menus. This is truly a once in a lifetime dining experience with never before seen techniques and any visitor to Athens should make sure to book a table here well in advance, as they do fill up quickly.
