This restaurant originally opened in 2004 in a different location than where it sits now. Today, it is located on the sixth floor of the Onassis Cultural Centre and boasts not one but two Michelin stars for its creativity and incredible food. In the summer months, expect to dine on the seventh floor of the building as the restaurant moves up to offer an incredible outdoor dining space that boasts of great views. The goal of this restaurant is to elevate Greek food and to use as many raw materials as possible that are local to Greece. The most popular menu here is the tasting menu, and by choosing it the guests get a real feel of what the restaurant offers. Diners can taste as little as eight courses and as much as fourteen courses and include things such as quail eggs, squid, milk fed pork and more. If you aren’t interested in eating a full menu here, there is a menu that boasts of great tapas and a killer wine list. Do yourself a favour and include this restaurant on your list of places to dine while in Athens.
