Dal Moro’s “Pasta to go (formerly Alfredo’s)” is a really popular little fast food joint that serves delicious, fresh, homemade, authentic Italian pasta to go. Dal Moro’s is only about a 3 minute walk from St. Mark’s Basilica, but the pasta is much better and cheaper than you will ever find in the overpriced touristy restaurants on the Piazza San Marco. One of the nicest things about Dal Moro’s is that you get to mix and match to create your own perfect meal. First, choose your sauce (vegetarian or meat, spicy or mild) and then choose the type of homemade pasta you prefer. The pasta is then cooked and freshly served in cute little paper boxes perfect for eating on the go, or at a bench by the canal.
The portion sizes are generous, and for under €10 pasta, this fresh and tasty treat is an absolute bargain.
