You know when you're looking for that perfect South Indian vegetarian food with a reasonable price point in Kumily (Thekkady) and then you laugh because it doesn't exist? Add in the mouth-watering dosas, fluffy idlis, vadas and the works, and you'll start to thank your stars for the saving grace called Ariya Bhavan. Being one and only vegetarian meal restaurant in Kumily Junction, Ariya Bhavan is a relief for the hungry souls hankering for delicious South Indian vegetarian meals in the area. The options on the menu are limited to the basic staple Kerala cuisine. The parota, however, is a savoury rendition worth trying. Apart from the South Indian filter coffee, people also treat their palate to kulfi. On the whole, we can safely say, you can hardly go wrong here.
