Also located in the state of Tamil Nadu, this popular hill station is located in the Nilgiri Hills. Ooty is known as popular summer destination for folks living in the states of Tamil Nadu and is pretty much all you need for a great time during the summer vacations. The Nilgiri Hills, which is translated to “the blue mountains,” plays the perfect host as it calls vacationers into its mysticism, as the Kurunji flowers that blossom every 12 years enthral the sensibilities. The Doddabetta is the highest point is the highest point in the Nilgiris, and this makes it by far the best viewpoint in this region. The Ooty Lake is a great place to spend some quiet time at, and the best part is that there is boating facilities available for guests.
