The Fortnite v40.41 update is going to be released on May 28, 2026. Similar to all previous updates this season, Epic Games will release the patch at 4 AM ET / 8 AM UTC across all regions. As always, the developers will take the servers offline for maintenance ahead of the update. During the downtime window, all Fortnite game modes, including Battle Royale, Zero Build, Reload, Fortnite OG, and LEGO Fortnite, will be unavailable. Furthermore, they disable the matchmaking around 30 minutes before the servers go offline, so you are advised to finish your sessions before then.
