Zimbabwe and their top-order woes continued as they were overwhelmed by Joshua Little and in all honesty, there were a few poor shots played by the batters as well. Skipper, Sikandar Raza fell with the scorecard reading 19/4 and it looked like all hope was lost for the host. Ryan Burl and Clive Madande stepped up with the latter playing some aggressive cricket and Burl just holding up one end. Madande got into the thirties and got out after whcih Burl stitched together another valiant stand, this time with Wellington Masakadza to put Zimbabwe in a good position but once again it went downhill and they finished well under the 200-run mark. Masakadza was the top scorer and the only one to get into the 40s but it wasn't enough to take his side to a decent total.

A sublime bowling effort from Ireland thanks to a brilliant five-fer from Joshua Little and they have kept the home side, Zimbabwe to an under-apr score of just 166 runs. Little, who was expensive in the last game, made sure to bring his A-game this time and started off in fine fashion, picking up wickets left, right and center. He had the opposition reeling at 19/4, all four wickets to his name and all Ireland needed was to pile on the pressure. However, they faced a bit of resistance but Andy McBrine did get the fifth wicket before Zimbabwe yet again fought back. It was the part-timer, Harry Tector who got the wicket of Ryan Burl and that opened the floodgates. Little came back in and ended up with six wickets to his name and rounded off the best bowling figures in Ireland Men's ODI history.
