PITCH REPORT - Darlington Matambanadzo at the pitch report says that the boundaries are big today as it is 75 m behind and 78 m to the squares. The wicket looks really hard on the top and is covered with some live green grass which is definitely going to help the fast bowlers. He adds on by saying that the wicket is much more dry than the first ODI and there is a huge chance that the spinners come into the picture as the match goes on. He ends by saying that it will be a good decision if the captains win the toss and bowl first to make use of the seaming conditions.
The Irish skipper, Paul Stirling says he would have bowled first anyway as the pitch looks the same as the previous match that was washed out. He concludes that the boys can only try to keep the atmosphere light and have fun in the dressing room when the rain stops the action.
Sikandar Raza, the skipper of Zimbabwe states that they will bat first. Adds that it's a dry wicket and they want to put runs on the board. They aim to be a team that doesn't care about the toss and is focused on performing well. Ends by informing that they have a couple of changes in the team with Innocent Kaia missing out due to an injury and Milton Shumba comes in for him. Also, Wellington Masakadza comes in as an extra spinner in place of Luke Jongwe.
