South Africa got off to a good start and it was Janneman Malan who was the aggressor for them. Quinton de Kock perished while trying to up the ante and after that nothing went the Proteas' way. Wickets kept tumbling for them and they completely lost the plot. Miller and Dwaine Pretorius showed some resistance but they too got out after getting a start. If not for Keshav Maharaj, South Africa would have failed to cross even the 130-run mark. He finished as their second-highest run-scorer and that sums up their story.
The man of the moment, Taskin Ahmed is up for a quick chat. He says he is very happy. Adds, he just stuck to his process and indicates there was some extra bounce which helped him. Tells that he has been believing in the process for many years and that is the key to his success.
What a splendid bowling performance this has been from Bangladesh! They have been absolutely brilliant with the ball and South Africa have now recorded their lowest-ever ODI total against Bangladesh. At one point, the Proteas were cruising along as the openers stitched together a good partnership of 46 runs. However, they lost 10 wickets for just 108 runs and it is the tourists who have dominated the proceedings and history beckons for them.

Shakib Al Hasan to Lungi Ngidi, OUT! CAUGHT! A needless shot from Ngidi and South Africa lose their ninth wicket now. Clever bowling from the veteran, Shakib Al Hasan though! He serves a loopy ball, on a length, around off. Ngidi skips down a bit and looks to heave it across the line. He miscues it high in the air towards the mid off region. Najmul Hossain Shanto (sub) runs in from the deep, dives forward and takes a really good catch. Ngidi is absolutely gutted as he walks back to the hut.
