'Jhimma 2': Here's Why you shouldn’t miss watching Hemant Dhome's multi-starrer

Actor-director Hemant Dhome's sequel of blockbuster 'Jhimma' starring Gauri Rinku Rajguru and Shivani Surve, it is supported by an ensemble cast of Suhas Joshi, Nirmiti Sawant, Siddharth Chandekar, Kshitee Jog, Suchitra Bandekar and Sayali Sanjeev has been making the headlines right from the time of its announcement for all the right reasons.

Hemant Dhome's blockbuster 'Jhimma' based on the lives of seven women who belong to different backgrounds change drastically when they go on a vacation together through a same travel agency. Now, the sequel follows a group of women that comes from different age and sociocultural backgrounds who celebrate life together.

Bollywood's ace filmmaker Anand Rai who is well-known for his movies like 'Atrangi Re', 'Tanu Weds Manu' Shubh Mangal Saavdhan' among others, is all set to produce Hemant Dhome's 'Jhimma 2'. Directed by Hemant Dhome, and written by Irawati Karnik, Jhimma 2 will be released in cinemas on 24 November 2023.

Hemant Dhome made his directorial debut with 'Baghtos Kay Mujra Kar' in 2017. While speaking about the sequel', Hemant said "We had never decided that we would make a sequel, even when Jhimma received blockbuster success and immense popularity. Reunion finds fun while continuing the story of Jhimma and people loved the characters so much that it felt like a responsibility to present a sequel. My entire team has made Jhimma 2 with fun, simplicity and authenticity which I’m sure will appeal to the audiences as well."
