Malayalam films which had animals as pivotal characters

While watching each and every film, what the audience seek the most is a change. They want something novel, something untold and unheard before. The change doesn't mean a change in the plot. The audience are also expecting to have a change in the protagonist as well. Malayalam film obviously has a change in its plot, but there were also movies which had animals as the central part of the film. Those movies were highly accepted by the people as it had much to offer. And who doesn't love to watch an animal acting onscreen? Here is a list of films which has animals in the pivotal roles.

‘Parava’

A whole film revolves around pigeon. Even the intense scenes are related to the pigeon. The movie itself has the title 'Parava’ (Bird).' The film is directed by actor-turned-director Soubin Shahir. The main characters in the movie are linked to pigeon taming. Even the fights between the lead characters are connected with the matches between these pigeons. The film even reaches its climax with a pigeon flying back to its owner. The movie is also a brilliantly crafted one.

‘Ring master’

Like the name suggests, the story is about a dog and his master. The movie begins follows and ends with the pet dog. The movie had actor Dileep as its lead actor. The movie is directed by Rafi. Dileep handled the role of an animal trainer in the film. The female lead, the antagonist and the incidents are always connected in the movie. The movie reaches an interesting moment, where the protagonist, names his dog after his ex-girlfriend, who cheated on him.

‘CID Moosa’

The audience couldn't take a single moment to look away from the squad dog. The important events are always linked to the squad dog. The audience were not able to hold their tears when the dog gets wounded in an attack. The whole movie revolves around CID Sahadevan, who is very connected with the dog. The major portion of the movie has the characters sharing screen space with the cute pet. His bravery and brilliance still continue to entertain the audience. The Johny Antony movie is one of the best slapstick comedies of M-Town.

‘Gajakesari yogam’

The title is a popular phrase used to portray a good period in time. The film revolves around an elephant. The movie discusses the incidents where the protagonist tries to buy an elephant and later gets into troubles due to the elephant. The whole movie treats the elephant as a pivotal character. The way the owner tries to learn Hindi in order to communicate with the elephant, the deeds that the elephant makes, for which the protagonist gets blamed and many other things create laughter for the audience.
