‘Bazooka’: compelling reasons to get excited about Mammootty’s thriller

After the mediocre hit ‘Christopher’, the legendary actor Mammootty is all set for his comeback this year with debutant filmmaker Deeno Dennis’ upcoming film ‘Bazooka’. The expectations are high among the fans right after the title announcement, and here, let’s take a look at the reasons why you should be excited about the Mammootty starrer.

Mammootty-Deeno Dennis’ ‘Bazooka’ is touted to be a game thriller. As there are not many Malayalam films that fall under the genre, and also with the fact that Mammootty will be playing the lead, one can expect nothing short of a masterpiece from the debutant director Deeno.

Deeno is the son of the popular writer Kaloor Dennis, who has gifted several classic films to the Malayalam film industry, such as ‘Alakadalinakkare’, ‘Koottinilam Kili’, ‘Aa Raathri’, and many more. Being a young director, Deeno will surely know the pulse of the audience and will be utilising the stardom of Mammootty with ‘Bazooka."

Mammootty’s script selection in recent times, except ‘Christopher’, is commendable and the legendary actor is surely enjoying the process of filmmaking and also delivering quality content to the audience. The first look poster which was shared by the makers of ‘Bazooka’ had a ‘John Wick’ style to it and promised a complete action thriller. Coming to the second poster, the makers have given a much more stylish appearance that resembles Hollywood action flicks. Overall, both the posters for ‘Bazooka’ are highly promising and is indeed one of the reasons for high expectations.
