When Aamir Khan cried at the screening of ‘Katti Batti’

‘Katti Batti’ was a light-hearted romantic comedy drama, but when Aamir Khan saw it, he called it a real tear-jerker. In 2015, he was seen breaking down after a private screening of the movie. Speaking about it in a conversation with Hindustan Times, Aamir shared, “It's an extremely emotional and moving story about the beliefs one has in love and the extent to which one goes for those beliefs. It reminded me of moments from my own life.”

He added, “I am an obsessive kind of emotional. I am a sucker for Mills & Boon stories. The film reminded me of moments that I have been through that were highly romantic, intense, and obsessive.”

His boy offered him a brown towel, which the actor carried on his shoulder while leaving the theatre. He told Hindustan Times, "When I started watching the film, I didn't have a towel or anything. But I got very emotional in the second half, so I asked my boy to get me something, and he got me that.”

Another Salman Khan movie that left Aamir Khan with tears in his eyes is ‘Sultan.’ Never shy to cry in public, Aamir Khan broke down after watching Sultan. When the press asked him to choose a movie between ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ and ‘Sultan,’ the actor confessed, “It’s difficult to compare Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Sultan. Both are very good movies. I don’t compare. But Sultan is outstanding, moving, and cried in the second half. It is a very inspiring film.”

“I messaged him at night, congratulating him. It deserves success. Sultan will break all records, I am sure,” he added.
