Actor Arnold Schwarzenegger reportedly became a victim of a death hoax after a fake report of his sudden demise surfaced online. Reports claimed the actor was found dead at his California home. A report posted on August 27, 2015 stated that the Los Angeles Police Department received an emergency call about an "unresponsive male" from the actor's house. However, Schwarzenegger was spotted next day at a restaurant in Los Angeles, reported Daily Mail.

Martial arts icon Jackie Chan fell victim of a death hoax. The superstar was baffled by the news of his passing away soon after alighting a flight. "I was shocked by two news reports when I got off the plane. First of all, don't worry! I'm still alive. Second, don't believe the scam on Weibo using my name about the Red Pockets," an IANS report quoted Chan. The actor, who was busy with the Cannes Film Festival of late, also made it clear that he has just one official page on Facebook and Weibo. However, Jackie Chan is not the only one in facing a death hoax. Look which singing sensation recently suffered the same on the web.

The latest celebrity to be a victim of this sick joke on social networking sites is popular Indian rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh! The rumour stated that the rapper had died in an accident. But the good news for everyone out there is that he is alive and kicking. Honey Singh is currently in Dubai promoting a boxing league by the name of Global Fighting Championship. In 2011 there was a rumour that the Bruce Almighty actor had died in a snow boarding accident. Again in the second week of January this year, he became a target of fake celebrity death reports. Allegedly, his ‘R.I.P. Jim Carrey’ Facebook page attracted nearly one million of ‘likes’. However, this report was quickly dismissed as the actor is alive and kicking.
