T’puram: Two men were arrested with around 2kg of ganja near the Thampanoor bus stand as part of city police’s anti-drug campaign, Operation Toofan. Police said the accused had allegedly smuggled the contraband from Odisha by train and were planning to sell it among college and school students in teh city.
The arrested persons were identified as Aneesh (34) of Kanyakumari, and Robin (32) of Thiruvananthapuram. The arrests were made during a joint operation conducted by the Dansaf and Thampanoor police.
