MP Yaduveer accuses state govt of delaying land for AI companies
Mysuru: Mysore MP Yaduveer Wadiyar on Wednesday alleged that the state govt is delaying handing over land for AI companies in Mysuru.
He alleged that these companies are ready to pay the market rate for the land. “However, there is delay in the allotment of land by the KIADB and other govt agencies,” he added. “Neither in acquisition of land nor in allotment of industrial sites, this govt is working speedily. It is not business-friendly,” he said.
Speaking to reporters to mark the achievements of PM Narendra Modi as the longest-serving PM of India, he blamed the state govt for price rise. “Rates of petroleum products, electrical goods and essential commodities like milk are higher in Karnataka compared to other states. Amid war, the central govt successfully put a break on inflation through its innovative initiatives. As the state has no good economic policies, people are facing price rise problem,” he said.
On Congress’ allegation that the Union govt is showing stepmotherly treatment towards Karnataka, he questioned the seriousness of Karnataka govt in getting the Centre’s support. “During the Lok Sabha session, I saw Telangana CM thrice interacting with state MPs on the state’s interest. However, former CM Siddaramaiah never called on the state MPs or discussed anything. He never attended GST Council or NITI Aayog meetings or sent representatives. I hope the new CM will change his approach,” he said.
“Blaming the Centre for his faults was Siddaramaiah’s strategy. He did the same during his first term,” Yaduveer said.
He alleged that under Congress rule, communal forces are targeting Hindus in the state. “In West Bengal, people taught a lesson to a communal govt,” he said.
He also slammed state home minister Priyank Kharge, saying he is targeting RSS repeatedly. “RSS has 100 years of glorious past and we all must be thankful to the organisation for its service to mankind, society, culture,” he said.
