SHRC demands resolution to drinking water issue in Kochi
Kochi: State human rights commission (SHRC) chairperson Justice Alexander Thomas has demanded an immediate resolution to the complaint that clean water supply has been disrupted in Vennala, Madapat Road, Maithri Road, Kuttikkad Lane, AKG Library Road, Souharda Nagar, Haritha Road, Shanthi Nagar and Kaniyaveli Road in Chakkaraparamba division under Kochi corporation.
The order said that KWA assistant executive engineer should appear in person at the sitting to be held at PWD Rest House in Pathadipalam on July 14 and present the facts to the commission. The action is in a case registered voluntarily by SHRC based on media report.
