Cockroach Janta Party founder Abhijeet Dipke says he will return to India on June 6 and lead a peaceful protest in Delhi demanding Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation over examination-related controversies. Supporters have been asked to gather at the airport before proceeding towards Jantar Mantar.

Signature Forgery Row: Abhishek Banerjee Not To Appear Before CID Today

Trinamool Congress MP Abhishek Banerjee will not appear before the CID today in the alleged fake signature case linked to the West Bengal Assembly LoP election row. According to AITC sources, he has formally informed the CID through a letter sent via his lawyer. The case relates to allegations of forged signatures of TMC MLAs on a May 19 letter supporting the selection process for the Leader of Opposition. The CID, which has formed a Special Investigation Team headed by a DIG-rank officer, is examining discrepancies between disputed signatures and official Assembly records. The investigation continues, with multiple leaders already questioned and forensic verification of signatures underway.
