GTB Warriors lift CCL T20 trophy

Kanpur: GTB Warriors defeated Patel Properties by 60 runs to win the CCL T20 League at Sapru Ground on Friday evening.
Batting first, GTB Warriors posted 156/7 in 20 overs. In reply, Patel Properties were bundled out for 96 in 14.1 overs. Maninder Singh was their highest scorer with 41 runs, while GTB's Abhishek Chauhan caused maximum damage, claiming five wickets for just 12 runs.
Abdul Rehman and Ram Singh were adjudged the Best Batsman and Best Bowler, respectively, while Abhishek Chauhan bagged the Player of the Match award.
Former Ranji Trophy players Rahul Sapru and Samdeep Pandey, along with Unnao Cricket Association secretary P K Mishra, distributed the trophies.
