Times News NetworkKanpur: A case has come to light in Narwal tehsil where a fake order was prepared to declare land as industrial in a matter that had already been dismissed by the court. The alleged fake order, prepared by scanning the SDM’s signature, had also been sent for feeding into the Khatauni. Accused peshkar Anuj Tripathi has been suspended after prima facie involvement was found during the investigation. On the directions of district magistrate Jitendra Pratap Singh, an FIR has been registered against the accused employee at Narwal police station under sections 336 (3), 337 and 340 (2) of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita, 2023. Additionally, departmental action has been taken and he has been suspended with immediate effect. The matter came to light when Rohit Bhadauria, an operator working in the computer room of the tehsil, found an order that had arrived for feeding to be suspicious. Upon receiving the information, the Tehsildar ordered an inquiry. The investigation revealed that in a case which the court had already dismissed due to non-submission of required affidavits, consent letters and other evidence, an order had been prepared and sent to the computer room declaring 0.41 hectares of land in village Birhar as converted from agricultural to non-agricultural and industrial use.
The investigation was personally conducted by SDM Arwal Vivek Kumar Mishra. The inquiry found that the signatures on the order sent for feeding were not his, but rather his signatures had been scanned and affixed. The format of the order was also found to be different from other court orders. A check on the RCCMS portal confirmed that the concerned case had been dismissed.During the investigation, a response was sought from Anuj Tripathi, the reader/peshkar posted at the SDM’s court, but he could not provide any satisfactory explanation. The investigation report states that the responsibility for maintaining court files, records and orders and preserving their confidentiality lies with the reader. Despite this, his prima facie involvement was found in the matter of preparing a fake order in the dismissed case and sending it for feeding into the Khatauni.
