Times News NetworkUjjain: A 55-year-old woman, a resident of Uttar Pradesh, who was travelling from Indore to Ujjain to visit Mahakaleshwar temple, was killed after the motorcycle she was riding pillion on crashed into a divider on Indore Road on Saturday morning.The deceased was identified as Rajkumari Sahu. Police said that she had recently come to Indore to stay with her sister’s family and had expressed a desire to visit Mahakal temple.According to Nanakheda police station in-charge Narendra Yadav, Rajkumari was travelling to Ujjain with her nephew Ritik Sahu, who was riding the motorcycle. The accident occurred around 7 am near Ninora village on Indore Road when the rider allegedly lost control of the bike, causing it to hit a divider.Rajkumari, who was seated on the pillion seat, suffered serious injuries in the crash. Some relatives travelling behind them on another motorcycle witnessed the accident and rushed both Rajkumari and Ritik to a nearby hospital.Doctors declared Rajkumari dead on arrival, while Ritik sustained injuries, police said.Following the accident, family members reached Ujjain. Police registered a case and conducted a postmortem examination before handing over the body to the relatives.
