Indore: Chief minister Mohan Yadav on Sunday announced the establishment of three new police stations in Indore and reiterated that the state govt will continue recruiting 22,500 personnel annually into the police force.
Addressing a programme at DRP Line, Yadav inaugurated the District Drone Unit, launched the ‘Indore Traffic Sathi’ mobile application and inducted 18 high-tech drones into the Indore Police. He also flagged off 10 new police vehicles, including five Boleros and four motorcycles procured under CSR initiatives.
The CM further announced that dedicated police bands will be set up in every district of the state.
“Indore is expanding rapidly and its policing requirements are also increasing. The new police stations will help strengthen law-and-order management and security arrangements,” the CM said.
He also issued a warning that negligence of duty or harassment of citizens by officials would not be tolerated.
