Fire at warehouse destroys tyres, furniture & tent material

Indore: A major fire broke out at a warehouse on LIG Link Road late on Friday night, destroying goods belonging to four businessmen.According to fire department officials, information about the fire was received around 2:50 am. Three fire tenders were dispatched and by the time firefighters reached the warehouse, the flames had already spread through stored material.The warehouse contained tent material, new and old tyres, furniture items and plywood. The fire reduced a large quantity of goods to ashes. No casualties were reported.Fire officials said that the tent material belonged to Rahul Bhandari and a stock of tyres was owned by Mahmood. Furniture items belonged to Irfan Ali while mica sheets were owned by Prashant Khare.Firefighters worked for several hours to contain the blaze. The exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
