Chandigarh: Former
Punjab BJP president Sunil Jakhar on Wednesday condemned "attempts" by
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convener
Arvind Kejriwal and chief minister Bhagwant Mann to "divide the people of Punjab on the basis of religion and language".
Responding to posts by Kejriwal and Mann in which they alleged misuse of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to target "Hindu traders", Jakhar posted on X, "Kejriwal ji/Bhagwant Mann ji, do not ignite a fire that you cannot extinguish. Stop this dirty politics of dividing Punjab in the name of religion."
"Punjab follows the divine principle given by the revered Gurus: ‘manas ki jati sabhe ekai pahchanbo' (recognise the human race as one)," he added.
