Demolitions in Bodakdev, Isanpur

Ahmedabad: On Monday, a team from Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation’s estate department (South Zone) demolished illegal structures on the service road from Aslali to Komod Circle in Isanpur’s TP Scheme No. 53. As many as 18 commercial units — approximately 4,500 square feet of construction — were razed, opening up a 350m stretch.

The estate department’s North West Zone team removed encroachments on public roads. These included illegal structures on Judges Bungalows Road in Bodakdev and on SG Highway. In an operation by the Ahmedabad City traffic police, fines were imposed on a total of 42 vehicles, and Rs 21,000 collected. Approximately 450 m2 of commercial construction was razed at Final Plot No. 174 in Bopal’s TP Scheme No. 2. About 6,500 m2 of space was cleared up.
